THE DESIGN CHALLENGE

I had the honour of designing and developing a wedding website for this couple, focusing on creating an aesthetically pleasing user interface that effectively communicated crucial information to their guests.
Meeting the clients

DISCOVERY & PLANNING

In the initial meeting with the clients, we discussed the content, colour themes, and general concepts for the website.

The clients chose a minimalistic aesthetic with minimal content where the focus of the website would be conveying crucial information to guests.

We aligned the website's colour scheme with the established colour theme from their wedding invitations as well as the base colours present in their photos.

TYPOGRAPHY

Along with the website designs, I showed the clients various typography combinations and how they would appear on the site.

DESIGN SYSTEM

These are the components of the website:
Time to build!

DEVELOPING THE WEBSITE

The website was built in Webflow and the domain was hosted by Go Daddy.

Building the website was straightforward and efficient thanks to my strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.

MOBILE UI

To improve the experience for mobile users, images were reduced and this ensured that users would spend less time scrolling through content.

THE RESULTS

Check out the website, here.
Clients were satisfied with the final product, not only that, users found it easy to use. One user at the wedding quoted:
"I got here, so it worked!"
